Giant Creative Opportunities

Paid Media Specialist

Description

About GIANT Creative
GIANT Creative is Canada’s premier full-service marketing agency, known for blending data-driven strategies with unforgettable creative. We build performance-first campaigns rooted in storytelling, design, and tech that deliver GIANT results.

Our growing roster of client-partners includes top tier brands like McDonald’s Canada, Tourism London, Ellis Don, Casey’s Kitchens, The Storage Box, Trudell Animal Health, UROSPOT and many more!

We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist who is technically sound, eager to grow, and ready to get hands-on with our primary acquisition channels (Meta, Google, and LinkedIn).

You will step into a supportive environment where you can refine your technical skills while learning how to translate complex data into clear business insights.

Who You Are:
  • A Builder & An Optimizer: You are confident stepping into legacy accounts to improve ROAS, but you aren't afraid of the "blank page" - you can research, build, and launch new campaigns from scratch and find traction quickly.
  • Platform Fluent: You have strong, hands-on experience pulling the right levers in Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook/IG). Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads is a great bonus.
  • A Data Translator: While you won't be managing clients solo on day one, you know how to look at complex data and explain why a campaign is winning or losing without relying on jargon. You are eager to shadow the senior team, learn the ropes of client communication, and eventually lead the strategy and conversation

Core Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Execution: Research, build, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns primarily across Google Ads and Meta Ads (with occasional LinkedIn Ads). You are up-to-date on modern account structures and automated bidding strategies.
  • Strategic Planning & Roadmaps: Work closely with senior leadership to help shape account strategy. You will translate client goals into actionable paid media roadmaps, build performance projections, and help manage client expectations.
  • Revenue-Focused Optimization: Go beyond basic vanity metrics and top-level conversions. Your focus is on the bottom line: driving actual revenue, maximizing ROAS, and optimizing COM (Cost of Marketing).
  • Scientific Testing & CRO: Bring a rigorous approach to performance. Build out testing frameworks and conduct scientific A/B tests on audiences, creative, copy, and landing pages (CRO) to continuously improve results.
  • Creative Strategy & Copywriting: You will write compelling ad copy, knowing exactly how to balance platform algorithm demands (like Google's Ad Strength) while maintaining strict control over the messaging.
  • Client Collaboration (Growth Path): You will start by supporting the senior team on strategy calls and reports, with the direct goal of being mentored so you can eventually manage clients directly and lead these meetings yourself.
  • Data & Tracking: Ensure the "plumbing" works. You know your way around GA4 and basic Pixel setups, and can collaborate with our team to ensure we are tracking the right data.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ Years of Hands-On Experience: You have actively built, managed, and scaled campaigns within Google Ads and Meta Ads (LinkedIn Ads experience is a bonus). Agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Performance-Obsessed: Proven success managing campaigns optimized for revenue metrics (ROAS, COM) and lead generation, rather than vanity metrics.
  • Modern Platform Knowledge: You understand how current ad algorithms work. You are well-versed in modern account structures, automated bidding strategies, and scientific A/B testing methodologies.
  • Tracking & Analytics: Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and basic conversion tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager). Experience visualizing data in Looker Studio is a big plus.
  • Growth-Minded Communicator: Strong internal communication skills and a highly collaborative attitude. You can clearly articulate why a campaign is winning or losing to our internal team, and you possess the ability and desire to eventually grow into a client-facing leader.

Benefits:
  • Salary starting at $55,000
  • Hybrid work flexibility in London, ON.
  • Extended health, dental, and vision care.
  • Paid time off and company events.

Compensation

$55,000.00 per year
